Guns N’ Roses lead singer, Axl Rose, took to Twitter to share news of a recent foot injury that resulted in an Open Reduction Internal Fixation (ORIF) surgery at our center earlier this month. Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group physician, Dr. Rachel Triche, appeared in a video, also shared by Rose, to further explain the surgery and recovery process to fans.

As his foot heals from surgery, Rose must limit the weight he puts on his foot for the next month. Of course, this didn’t stop him from performing. The singer borrowed this "Rock Throne" from friend and fellow musician, Dave Grohl, that enabled him to perform two shows in Las Vegas and most recently at The Coachella Music Festival.
